Welcome to Forest Counselling Services. We are located in the heart of the ancient Needwood National Forest which is within easy reach of the Derbyshire and Staffordshire from the A38 and surrounding areas.

Forest Counselling Services is run by Naomi Taylor and Associates.

Naomi: “I have worked with many, many clients from all walks of life and tailor my approach to your personal needs and individual circumstances. The approach is known as ‘integrative counselling’ which means working with different theories (humanistic, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic) in order to help you in the most effective way”.

There is currently no legislation for any counsellors to be qualified. FSC counsellors have chosen to undertake professional qualifications for personal and ethical reasons. Naomi holds: a Masters Degree (in counselling), a Post Graduate Certificate & Post Graduate Diploma, a Certificate in Equine Assisted Therapy and a Certificate in Life Coaching.

All FCS staff are members of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. Naomi is an Accredited Member and is also a professionally registered with the United Kingdom of Registered Counsellors & Psychotherapists - which binds counsellors to work within a set code of ethics and practice.
